Evidence of Spirit (Part 2) - The Inner World (Your Journey Begins Within)

You may have often heard it said that your Spirit is "within you." This is an absolute truth, but what does it mean exactly? By within you, does it mean that your Spirit is somewhere inside your body? Well, yes and no. If the mental image which comes to mind when you think of your Spirit being within you is like unto that of any of your internal bodily organs such as your kidneys or intestines or even your heart, then no. From a literal sense, your Spirit is not actually anywhere inside you materially; yet you have to go within yourself to find it. I know this sounds like a bad riddle, but unraveling this paradox is the key which unlocks the first of many doors you'll have to open along your journey to discover your Spirit. The apparent contradiction of this paradox is reconciled by putting the word "within" in its proper context.

To go within yourself means to shut yourself off from the bombardment of external stimuli. Perceiving your Spirit through all the "noise" which continually beats upon your physical senses is just shy of impossible when you have only a vague idea as to what exactly it is you're supposed to be looking for in the first place - an intangible something called your Spirit. The evidence of Spirit is verily all around you, but the only place it can be touch is within you. And as a matter of course, all outward evidence of the Spirit's existence will go unnoticed by your consciousness until such contact is made. The more you connect with your Spirit, the more cognizant you will be of its illumination centered not only within you, but in everything around you.

Imagine a person who is blind, deaf and unable to smell, taste or tactilely feel anything. Such a person is locked within themselves wouldn't you say? They are not locked within any particular place inside their body such as their kidneys or bones. However, lacking the capacity to interact with outside stimuli forces such a person's focus to turn in on itself and explore those things which are generally unseen, unheard and not sensed through any physical organ. That which your physical organs can sense is considered external. So going within yourself, exploring what is internal, means exploring those things about you which are unseen, unheard and not sensible by means of any physical organ. This is not to suggest that you have to subject yourself to total sensory deprivation in order to go within yourself and discover your Spirit, such a course of action would not only be extreme, but wholly unnecessary. Simply withdrawing your attention from the information you are receiving through your physical senses is all that's required to go within yourself. Why madden yourself with the impossible task of trying to block every source of external stimulation when you can quite simply cultivate the art of just ignoring such stimuli? Whether you realize it or not, you are actually quite adept at doing this. Every time you drift off to sleep, you are going within yourself.

Still, consciously withdrawing your attention from external stimuli while you're in a "waking state" takes practice, but such effort will be rewarded countless times over. It is part of some practices of meditation. There have been multitudes of meditative techniques crafted over the centuries which are available for you in your efforts to make use of. The best meditation technique is the one that's right for you. Whichever meditative technique best helps you withdraw your attention from those things happening outside yourself, is the meditative technique you should use. The natural result of withdrawing your attention from those things outside yourself is that your focus turns to those things within.

You can examine every corner of this Earth from now until eternity and you will never come across your Spirit. It is only when your focus turns in on itself that a whole new world opens up to you. And it is here, on this internal landscape, that your journey to discover your Spirit can now begin. "Eden" is within you. It was the ego which was cast out from this garden of paradise; your Spirit never left.

Ovaries Respond to the Brain - The Brain Responds to the World

Infertility treatment guided by Chinese medicine and acupuncture, takes us into many levels as we seek to produce pregnancy.

Let us share a lovely piece of wisdom with our readers today:

The soul, like the moon is new, and always new again.

I have seen the ocean continually creating.

Since I scoured my mind and my body, I too am new; each moment new... Written by Lalla, from Kashmir, 16th Century

Your ovaries are tucked deep within the corners of your pelvis, protected from immediate exposure to the environment, but not unaffected by it. The same way next year's crops are affected by this year's seeds and soil conditions; your ovaries are still taking in all of the messages your body/mind is interpreting about the condition of the world, and translating it into a hormonal response.

The process goes something like this:

SENSORY INPUT: You view your world according to your past conditioning. Your perceptions are like antennae that literally take the world in through the sensory organs. This perception becomes translated into an emotional response to your environment through subconscious thoughts like, "The world is unsafe;" or "I have to fight for what I get;" or "I am at peace with the world as it is."

HYPOTHALAMUS: These emotional messages arrive via afferent nerves to the hypothalamus, which then interprets these messages into chemical responses.

PITUITARY GLAND: The pituitary gland receives the message from the hypothalamus to become more or less fertile.

INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT: Now the external environment has chemically become the internal environment. The body is a duplicating machine for the mind. We have literally set up the internal environment based on our emotional response to the world. If we are at odds with it, energetic holding patterns will determine which body parts receive what messages.

OVARY: If the internal environment is one of stress and strain, the follicle will be deprived of blood, oxygenation, nutrition, and hormonal fuel. This environment won't allow the egg a great chance for survival.

Think of the oceans, continually creating, pouring forth new life every thirteen months, full of possibility, life teeming forth to find where it can be received throughout the oceans. We view the body as a microcosm of nature. Where scarcity is the external emotional response, scarcity will be the deepest internal expression. Where abundance is perceived, abundance is longing to be expressed.

Our method utilizes a process of internal alchemy - transforming what is into what can be. We use the interaction of "fire and water" - the outermost expression becoming the innermost manifestation. In the body, the mind's messages energetically come through the heart, the carrier of the light of spirit, by which we live in truth, or fire. We can't talk ourselves in to this truth; we must energetically live according to the light of the heart's fire. The ovaries represent water, like the depths of the ocean floor, teeming with potential.

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to begin to cultivate a more fertile response in your world. How many hours per day do you live in a state of ease? How many pleasurable activities do you do for yourself each day? Do you laugh and sweat every day? Do you eat as nature intends you to? Do you sleep soundly and wake refreshed? Do you see your life, as it is right now, as good enough?

If not, see if you can take three months, and do everything you can for yourself so you can answer the questions positively. You might want to try acupuncture. Try Chinese herbs, Qi Gong exercises, meditation, and walks in nature. See if you can eliminate sugar, wheat, dairy, alcohol, and caffeine, while still savoring and enjoying your meals. See if you can stop trying so hard to do it right. Be around people that understand and support you. Come to retreat to reinforce a fertile response. Live according to the laws of nature that are here to serve you. Live abundantly. Life is calling you through this process. Don't fight it - say yes. Many women find that going from infertility to fertility is connected to this mind, body and soul interplay that we describe. While improving their own lives, they make their way towards conditions that support pregnancy. We wish our readers the very best in their journeys.

The Endless Hour ((Part Four of Six)(The Younger World))

The Past Awake

(Sacred Treat: deep in thought) I had crossed the immensities of space in my dreams-broken out of time-perhaps like my cousin, Nagas, some fifty years since he has died, like him, I also can merge with the distant figure. For what purpose I'm not sure. I had inherited this gift, and sharpened it, taking it a little further, although God knows, I can't explain how. We now call the invisible one who sent the Bright One-with eagle wings down to help him-God, it was how Nagas implied the being should be referred to.

If I tell this to others they will call it hallucinations, although they don't know the word yet. I admit, there are changes in my brain chemistry when I get my dreams-visions, but for an endless hour, I am fully awake, eyes even open. So I take these remediable aspects-being able to slither through walls of time, awake or half-asleep, as readily attributable to something well within the realm of advanced-time travel, in lack of a better term: I call it 'The Endless Hour.' This is-I've learned, and picked up from these advance time periods, these past fifty-years, my new vocabulary. My nephew Krik has a similar ability, we are working together on this-perhaps knowing our future, we can better our present. I find him intelligence, pleasant, polite and able to deal with everyday human affairs, along with stretching out his abilities in this other area; although I find him in a state of distraction and dreaminess much of the awaking day, more so than I.

But now I've been pondering what I've seen on many occasions, I've somewhat figured it out:

I see in my dream world the pictures of what are called psychiatrists of the future, they are attempting peculiar things, those who see the future-beyond them (as I do) they are calling them psychotic. And this is ideal for the so called scientists; one helps the other in this mad tug-of-war: a dilemma over the question of sanity-

Their objective being to rid the future of its creator, the very one we just found here on White Island, I sense their hearts are saying 'He must vanish,' because we cannot see him; this is the validity of scientific madness, no more; madness because of contradictions.

So I re-enter the future through my dream world to find answers lately-

I did notice on one occasion, the psychoanalyst became what the scientist called a 'co-conspirator,' I think this meant, he believed in the patient, who had visions of God-of course, since the scientist did not see God, it was called by him a delusion. Anyhow, he even questioned the scientist by saying 'How sure are we that visions of the future, or those of angels or God himself, are not from God, or perhaps even from the devil?' That argument is still in progress.

I needed to know this for my sake; perchance I too was of this psychosis. According to consensus, the future world is 90% in belief, of a God, the ten-percent left, are the scientists, psychoanalysts, and philosophers, everybody but them are having delusions-by gosh what a world. Evidently, according to them, the scientists, this society made all this up about God. They said, these people are over tired, a lack of REM sleep; sensory deprivation, perhaps on local weed, an illness, high fever, you name it, they had it all 90% of them. These future beings have quite the zeal to find a conventional physical explanation, so they do not have to believe in a Creator. Why do they not have a simple acceptance of the fact: something cannot come out of nothing?

Anyhow, I must conclude my notes, to memorization for Krik; he is eagerly waiting for my observations, while being captivated by his own visions. For some reason him and I mesh-to a certain degree that is. And what I think I can tell him about future-is this:

It's all becoming a sweeping extravaganza, and the plot is deadly, out of self-interest, and world destruction.

"I'm torn," said Krik, to Sacred Treat, "I was thinking, perhaps Nagas, lost his boundary between reality and imagination."

"Perhaps you are more scientist and psychiatrist than you think you are. If the future is unpredictable, perhaps you are right; in any case it will be a wonderful, if not rewarding pursuit. For me, there is no personal end, how about for you?"

"There seems to be," commented Krik, "a thin line between these studies."

"In the world to be, I think it is called by all factors, 'inventor charades'" said Sacred Treat.

"But why is it at the expense of others?"

"A mad scientist or psychologist, or psychiatrist, can help take away the madness of another person, perhaps by talk therapy, or medicine, time and patience, writing books, but he can also take away his reality just as well, depending on his reality-truth is in the eye of the beholder, what he values is what he expresses. In many cases from what I've observed, the patient saves the therapist, seldom is the scientist saved."
